Audio description for 'Three Words for Forest'

Three Words for Forest is an original verbatim play that draws on interviews with 30 forestry specialists from across and beyond the UK. It explores the challenges, complexities, hopes and fears of working with trees and forests in a time of climate crisis.

Humans need trees and forests. But do trees and forests need us? Or are we simply interfering with their natural processes? How are trees and forests adapting to climate change? How do human actions and decisions impact on these processes? How do we understand, live, work with and care for trees and forests, and what role do we have in their futures?

Three Words for Forest was led by Dee Heddon (Professor of Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow) and Rachel Clive (freelance theatre practitioner and researcher at the University of Glasgow). It was created in collaboration with 30 forestry specialists, an interdisciplinary Research team and Creative and Production teams. Kaite O’Reilly supplied the audio description.
